Overview Malaseb Medicated Shampoo Antifungal effect against Malassezia , and a potent activity against bacteria. Chlorhexidine has a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts, moulds and fungi. The combination of miconazole and chlorhexidine is efficacious at killing the organisms of seborrhoeic dermatitis,and Staphylococcus intermedius. Staph. intermedius occurs as an overgrowth pathogen in the presence of Malassezia and is the main bacterial species responsible for bacterial dermatitis in the dog and cat.

Have only used it twice at this stage, but can see an improvement in the condition of irritation in the dogs paws, hopefully this continues to improve, all other products have shown no improvement that we have tried.

A good product if you need a more concentrated shampoo as recommended by vets. However the need to leave on for a lengthy time makes it difficult on a large dog. Certainly does the job but other products are simpler to use and non toxic.

We used to get our dog antihistamine needles at the vet to stop the scratching but this product is working so far. Summer is the worst time so hoping it keeps working in summer. Dog has more energy now.

I’ve just started using this medicated shampoo on my Rottweiler who has a few skin conditions and allergies. This shampoo is gentle enough on his skin and does not stink like many other medicated shampoo products. It’s only early days but I’m seeing great results already.

This product is fantastic!
This medicated shampoo made the huge bumps, dry patches where hair was lost and folliculitis disappear, on my large breed dog. It sure beats going to the vet and receiving an expensive bill when antibiotics aren't necessary. Now I know to rely on this shampoo especially in the hot seasons.
