THE PRESTIGE reveals so many practices and secrets held tightly within the magical illusionists world, and yet so many are left hidden. Jealousy, murder and revenge are part of this rather dark presentation of behind the scenes but the acting and editing bring it all to life, with many characters lurking in shadows in the background. A period piece with details that also show how difficult life was, money was scarce and employment in theatres hard to negotiate. Top cast, and sharp editing. I loved it.
