This certainly meets the criteria of being “lightweight,” because it is made of plastic parts and thin metal tubing. It does fold down into a smaller package than most pro tripods. This will be good to keep in the car for occasional use, but I will probably spring for something more substantial going forward.

Good solid lightweight stand for home studio work
Nice stand lots of flexibility for micing various instruments in a home studio as well as use as a vocal mic stand. It’s light weight and I wouldn’t expect it hold up to repeated live shows but would do fine in a pinch. All in all a quality stand for a great price will buy again

I like this stand because it folds up a little smaller than others and is a little lighter. It is not as tall as others so if you are over 6foot three, this might not adjust to you. The quick lock feature makes it fast and steady. I recommend this stand highly.
