Edward T. Haslam is a former advertising music director and writer. He lives in Bradenton, Florida. Jim Marrs is an award-winning veteran Texas journalist whose books have reached the New York Times bestseller list. Crossfire has sold 1.5 million copies since 1990, and its theories were featured in Oliver Stone's movie JFK. His book The Alien Agenda (HarperPaperbacks:1997) is widely considered to be one of the most comprehensive and balanced journalistic accounts of the ET phenomenon. Marrs started out with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and later owned several newspapers before becoming an independent writer.

Dr. Mary's Monkey
A well documented search of the New Orleans "extreme right" during the 1950's and 1960's. It brought the many players in a plausible perspective. I personally was not familiar with anything but the names and this made clear what their interactions were. On one hand it is upsetting how groups can have power to do wrong, but it also makes it clear (at least to me)that similar situations exist now but with more sophistication. It's well written keeping my interest for the entire time. Great book!

I did not want to read this book but it was the book of the month for my book club. However, it’s a most interesting story and I’m intrigued by it. Buying this book through eBay was the best book bargain I’ve ever had! I had the book on hold at my library but it wasn’t going to be coming in on time so I reluctantly looked for it online. Not only did I find it but the cost, including postage was a happy find.
