This series of Korean programmes are absolutely incredible! Chang-wook Ji is an awesome actor and I have seen most of the other actors in lots of programmes too. The fight scenes are so well timed and some of it has you laughing out loud. Brilliant, would recommend this as one to watch. Love it.xxx

I knew it wasn't like an official DVD when I ordered, but I did assume that it would have decent picture quality. I can hardly make out the actors faces when it's not a very close-up shot which makes it fairly unwatchable. Again, I wasn't imagining it to be the best quality in the world as an unofficial DVD but I would at least like it to not be completely blurry. I'm not sure I'll really be able to watch this. Otherwise the subtitles are nice and the TV logo isn't too distracting.

Without providing any spoilers, I loved this Drama. The only let down was I thought the ending was poor. Loved Kim Min Jung, strong performance. Kim Tae Ri is just fabulous and Yoo Yeon Seok puts in a fine performance. It was a dark time in history for the Korean people and that seemed to be conveyed, though thankfully we did not get the Hollywood version of 'dark'.

Okay, so I bought this because I love the American version of the show and my sister loves kdramas. As a result, I don't know any of the Korean characters names. The characters in this show are a bit different with some positives and some negative changes. I find the lead less compelling than his American counterpart. He seems lets cunning and intelligent forming an all around less compelling character. His backstory is also drawn out to a unpleasant length and presented at the beginning of the story instead of spaced throughout the show. The hacker and cat burglar end up dating in the original show and in this they are already working together and have a different, but very fun style of interaction. The cat burglar is also a lot less wacky then the original which I don't prefer, but it does make the character seem more grounded. I prefer the martial artist/fighter in this series. They've expanded him from the pugnacious womanizer he is in the original series while keeping his quiet brooding personality. I also prefer the con artist to the American character...by a lot. This is mostly because I really don't like Sofie from the American show, so this doesn't really speak to her being a good character in the Korean version, just a pleasantly not hate-able one. As for the plot, they've worked hard to give the characters the moral high ground, this is kind of odd as the premise of the show is they are a team of thieves, but I don't hate it. They've also added added a shadow organization in the background pulling the strings. This gives them something central to fight against, but also undermines the Robin Hood-esque premise. The quality of the DVD is good, it is not HD, but you can easily watch it on your giant home TV.Read full review

Lee Min Ho is such a great actor and he shines in this drama. Very very funny in parts and very poignant in others. The rest of the cast are excellent too. The storyline is thought provoking and very surprising at times. There is a great song in it by the group 2am which got to number one in Korea. Oh and did I mention Lee Min Ho is gorgeous! Excellent picture and english subs. Really pleased with this purchase.
