Doesn't work. Neither of the following situations worked: MacbookPro (hdmi) - adapater - vga cable - (vga) 1680x1050 Monitor Desktop (hdmi) - adapater - vga cable - (vga) 1680x1050 Monitor From the desktop I tried many different resolutions: 800x600, 1024xetc 1680x1050 and none of them worked.
