I received my cage yesterday it did take longer than expected but that wasn't the company's fault more the courier, but it was over Easter, so was to be expected. The cage itself was strong and sturdy easy to put together thankfully as instructions were pretty unhelpful. Its a generous size with six smaller openings for food and water and a lager door at the front which make it easy to access the birds and to clean the cage. The only problem I had was the base plates on the trolley that the cage sits on weren't level so the cage would rock, but my partner made up an adjustable leg made from a screw so that fixed the issue, Hence the 4-star review. My birds are loving their new home.

The product needed better packaging, it was damaged in transit and needed repair before it could be erected. There were no instructions, just a picture to follow and different sized screws and bolts but nothing to say what went where! Great size bird cage was easy to assemble. We did find a problem with the top and back of cage. There were gaps were a budgie could get out. Wasn’t an issue for us as we wanted to put a top and back on cage anyway.

Very good size for two bidgies. Loads of flying room and space for swings, mirrors, bath, food, toys. Easy access for food and water. Easy to clean. Good strong construction. Fairly easy to assemble. Although better instructions should be provided. Sort bolts carefully prior to construction. Need to think about which will fit where before putting in. Four different sizes. Not defined in instructions. If not familiar with flat pack or IKEA you may find it tricky. IKEA has better instructions. Otherwise, really great cage and fast service at a good price.

I bought this cage to rehouse a few Peach Face parrots to give them more room to move about and now they certainly have that. After reviewing a number of number of bird cages from Amazon, eBay, gumtree and my local pet stores etc, I finally decided on the Melody from Princess Trade.
