easy to use
Had tried an electronic stud finder which gave a lot of false positives. I used this to get a rough idea of where the studs were, and then used the electronic one to confirm. Magnet is very strong, and clings to screws and nails with no problems.

Good if you are looking for metal
US product where - I think - they use metal fasteners (screws and nails) to fix plasterboard. Amazingly powerful magnet. Problem is, I think our tradies are moving to glue so a bit hit and miss.
