Hard to go past the great price vs. features on this Arturia. With Ableton Live and Analog from Arturia included it’s a great starter keyboard. The only downside is the keybed. If you prefer a lively action and solid feel then this unit is not for you. It is definitely a basic setup in relation to this. Of courses, for under $400 I still think represents a good buy. For a upgraded keybed at you would look a the Alesis VI series at the same price point.

This is my first midi controller and I am very happy with it. It looks good and feels good. It doesn't feel cheap at all althrough it is made of plastic. It is also very light. As a beginner, it is perfect for me. There are only 2 problems that I noticed. First, the silicone modulation wheel is a little bit damaged as shown on the picture. But it doesn't matter. Also, there is some noise when I use it to play virtual instruments with the cable it comes with. But I easily fixed that using my own cable, and the noise now is gone. Hopefully I can make some good music with it!
