Unit is okay for my use but the basket had a bad design flaw, the draining hook on the basket is in the wrong place, and it makes it hard to place the basket back into the deep fryer and close the lid properly.

There are 2 design flaws with this deep fryer. The basket handle won't fit with the lid down, so it is always partially open. The unit is so small that the hot oil cools down when frozen foods are submerged into it. Apart from that, it's an OK fryer.
