This was not an easy fitting to install. I used 2.5mm shielded round wire, which does not fit well through the top grommet. Then, wiring the earth required me to fully disassemble the switch, and once I had it wired, I ended up cracking the turn lock on the base of the unit during reassembly as it was such a tight fit inside with the wires in place. With a bit of superglue holding the turn lock in place, it all works… but I think I’d choose a different brand if I had my time again. The low cost was reflected in the ease of installation.

Basically an extension socket and a standard two-pole 15A switch mech in a pendant-style enclosure. Outer casing fitment is a bit chintzy, but not surprising for the price, if you're not careful you might break the locking tab off when disassembling/reassembling. No anti-rotation features to prevent the socket from turning in the enclosure but it's a pretty tight fit so no major issue.
