I purchased a generic brand last year, and from the start the unit was not good. So before I purchased this, I was a bit worried. Those worries were totally unfounded. On attaching the first strut, I noticed that corner was sitting 10-15mm higher. I thought I had put it in incorrectly and checked. After fitting all the struts the bowl was sitting 20-25mm higher than the almost identical generic brand. However the feel of the plastic and colour was slightly different. The straps (clear) now fitted correctly and after several washes have not broken. Lesson learnt, the money I saved on buying the cheap generic brand was wasted as they were garbage.

If your Aqua Smart washing tub is banging when on spin, this kit fixes the problem. My machine is now like new, and the repair took me under just over 30 minutes to do. Lift the lid, there are 2 covers near the front which pry out, then remove the 2 screws. Lift up this section and prop it up with a broom or similar. Look at the new tub supports and then look at them in the machine. Replace one at a time. The White plastic frame at the top lifts up, lift the tub too to assist with this. Then lower the support down, use a torch, you will see the tub frame has a groove where the support is removed through. Note how it came out. The new support goes back in the same way. Into the groove first, check the red part is seated correctly, then lift up, and hook the top on. First one done. The back right hand side has an additional clip that holds hoses. Also when removing the top plastic section, take care as cables and a hose are routed around it. Put the new one in using the same routing. The springy straps are super easy to replace. Renew each, one at a time. Each end is pushed up into groove. So pull down at the ends to get the old one out. For the new, insert into the groove and gently push up. Hope this helps.Read full review

OEM & correct part number(s). Install straightforward. Replace each corner set, one at a time (old out, new in) and anyone can do it. The old straps had stretched, over the years, so I would highly recommend this kit that includes the straps.
