Full Metal Jacket blu-ray
The blu-ray of Full Metal Jacket has video which is sharp and clear without any visual artifacts or noise. The soundtrack is also clear. The movie is still engaging and relevant as a movie about Vietnam and America's engagement there. The first half of the movie is about the characters in the US Marine boot camp where at least one descends into madness. The second half is set in the 'Nam and is about the adventures of Joker, one of the young men who made it through boot camp and became a Marine and Stars and Stripes reporter.

Stanley Kubrick at his best.
I purchased this movie because many years ago when it was first released it was a great and arguably the best anti war movie made. Full Metal Jacket is really two stories in one, the military training stage and then the fighting stage. This is classic war movie and a must have addition to any enthusiasts collection.
