Got a new key (HOLDEN VE COMMODORE Remote Flip key Shell Omega Berlina Calais SS SV6 HSV GTS) , transferred the door opening closing electronics to it after having it cut, and then got message on car "engine Immobilized Refer to Manual" (The Manual Tells You Nothing) - I hadn't moves the transponder chip from the old key to the new key. In the pictures you will see the transponder chip, (very Small Black Chip at the end of my screwdriver) it was glued in to the old key housing so I had to cut it out the old casing with a side cutter.

As per other reviews key could not be cut as it is not standard, locksmith told me it was to thick. Had to buy a proper key. Push button part works well.

Given my other option was the $80 factory replacement, this was a brilliant option. Easy transition to fit the electornics from original into the replacement shell (ended up using the orgional piece containing the micro chip rather than risk damaging it pulling it out). This was is a gem. All of the components from the old remote fit perfectly and the fob key flicks out like new. Easy to transfer (heaps of YouTube tutorials out there) the only down side is I still need to go to Holden as my car doesn't recognize the keys immobilizer signal. Other than that central locking still works fine
