Exactly what the doctor ordered.
For years I've been down-tuning a semitone and subsequently have lost some bottom end tone and crunch using 10 - 46's. Now I have the best of both worlds with the D'Addario EXL140's. The light touch and "bendability" of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd but with a much more clear, solid and stable bottom end. I believe these will be my string and gauge of choice for many years to come.
