Good to great finish
Reasonably priced cold blue solution, works best on super shiny polished steel and expect to apply 8 to 12 coats even in super blue to get a uniform finish allow plenty of drying time between coats as it will tend to wipe off and finish next day with some old fashion gun oil and it seals the deal. Enough product to do 2 rifles and the finish is pretty good. Experimenting with application times depending on steel/carbon content helps get the blue nice and deep.

Great for finishing tools
I got this product to restore some tools. Not guns, but tools. It will work on iron of all types. It does what it says. Super blue is fast acting. Following the instructions for best results. It actually goes a long way for 90ml.
