taken by surprise on how much bigger these emergency shears are compared to ordinary pair of shears. but that goes with its function--it's a multitool, with more features built into it. haven't tried breaking glass with the carbine tool but looking at videos on how it is used, looks to me it's handy to keep around when travelling for those 'emergency' situations (needing to break a glass or windshield for that matter). the ring cutter is a tool most likely not to be used often but at least it's there if needed. the seat-belt cutter is also a 'bonus' to have built into the tool; useful when travelling too. i like that it has some sort of 'ruler'; it's useful for me for measuring wound dimensions which i use it for work. it's made of sturdy steel and with the holster, you can tuck away the Raptor either folded or unfolded.Read full review
