I can't use any other hook now
I recently wanted to do a project with a hook size I don't yet own in Clover Amour so I went back to a bamboo handled hook. Needless to say, I regret not purchasing The Clover hooks at the outset as my wrist pain is preventing me from enjoying more than just crochet. These hooks don't slip in your hands yet they roll with an efficient and positive action. I have found I hold them far more loosely than other hooks, resulting in better tension and speed and no hand pain. The rolling action I acquired with this grip shape also stops pai i my wrist. The shaft is smooth improving speed and tapered which is good for tight crocheters. A pointed head finds the opening in your work easily and a moderately deep throat holds the yarn when pulling up the loop. The colours makes it easy to pick up the right hook if you have more than one project on the go. The only problem I have had was in constructing extreme height stitches (QuadTR, QuinTR etc)Read full review

Soft grip handles make crocheting a joy for these old hands.
I already knew this would be a great product as I have the set of 9 larger Clover hooks and have been using them since October 2019. These soft handle hooks enable my arthritic hands to continue to crochet without cramping or pain. The flat spot for the thumb is in the perfect place and the thickness of the grip is the perfect size for me. If like me, you have arthritic hands or even tendonitis in your forearm, these hooks may enable you to continue with your crochet. They have made a huge difference to me.
