This Breville toasted sandwich maker is manufactured in stainless steel and can make up to two sandwiches simultaneously. The Breville has an adjustable top plate that can be set to different heights to accommodate all thicknesses of sandwiches. Furthermore, the adjustable height control ensures that thicker sandwiches are not squashed. Best sandwich maker I've ever had.
Great product. Actually does what it's advertised to do. I was sceptical at first, as every other sandwich maker I've had has crushed the bread, but this makes perfect fluffy toasted sandwiches. If I was going to be picky, I would say that this will not work well for those who put in a lot of filling and/or use thick bread, as the top plate will not stay level. However, if you're like me and just want a simple ham & cheese 'toasty', you'll love this.

No more squashed sandwiches!
It allows you to make sandwiches without being squashed thin, It's easy to use, but slightly smaller than regular sandwich press, so it's not feasible to make 2 sandwiches at once. The price is a big different from the regular one only for the hinged feature

Fabulous little sandwich press
So compact yet can do two normal sized sandwiches or one large such as Turkish bread. Easy to clean flat plates. Does not squash fillings and cheese melts perfectly without oozing out. Stores upright taking up very little cupboard space.

Crush control works so good
The crush control feature on this sandwich maker works so well (you just have to make sure if you’re toasting two, that they’re both the same thickness to work properly) and was worth the extra cost. A simple toasted cheese sandwich where the cheese stays within the bread rather than squishing out is wonderful.
