A little concerned, once open could see it was seperated into 3 parts a hardish grey putty, a white creme and an oilly substance, not sure if this is usually or not and it took a lot of stirring to rremix and still had some lumps but was only using a small amount and appeared to work well, not to hard to apply and was set the next day.

I found this product suitable for sealing thin metal such as mufflers but not so good on thicker parts. I tried plugging a wrongly drilled hole in bronze measuring 12mm wide and 15mm deep and it didn't harden much below 3 mm. The surface was hard enough to file, but when redrilling the hole, the underlying filler was quite soft. I tried this again and left it for two days rather than 24 hours, but much the same result. I eventually filled the hole using standard JB weld mixed with bronze metal filings. It dried rock hard all the way. I left it for 48 hours before redrilling and this worked fine.

Having an old motorbike with a muffler peppered with holes and no way of getting a replacement at present, this product has been a godsend. I was able to force the cement into the small holes, leave overnight, and it set like steel, which I then gave it a coat of exhaust paint. End result - Exhaust fixed using a first class product .

Easy to use Good to apply Just make sure you apply it liberally. Let it dry properly. I use this on a small hole and crack in my extractors on a V8 . Let it dry for 24 hours Heated up the exhaust only for a few minutes then left it again for 12 hours. It's worked perfectly, just make sure you sand down the area first properly.
