I have been using these Eneloop rechargeable batteries for over a decade, and the old ones are mostly still in use. So far as I can tell, over 95% of my 10+ year old batteries are still usable. Do they have a down-side? yes: they are small, and occasionally get lost, usually when I lose whatever gadget they happen to be powering. How dreadful!

These batteries without a doubt are amazing. These batteries out last, out run, & out perform anything that I have ever used. Being genuine Eneloop batteries makes a huge difference than the cheap copies that are getingt around. They may be a tad on the expensive side, but when you think about just how many times these can be charged & the shelf life of these, they in the long run are definately great value for money.
