The iron comes in a well presented embossed tin case, with all the accessories in their place. What is impressive in this age of in-built obsolescence is that all the parts are accessible and replaceable. My last portable gas iron was rendered unusable due to a corroded tip holder no longer being available. I am looking forward to may hours of reliable service from my new DREMEL iron.

Looks good at first, nice packaging , variety of tips, etc. but : I’ve been using it for couple of weeks, few days ago I noticed it doesn’t turn on, and while being off the gas kept leaking for few seconds. Now it’s constantly leaking!! so if you have a fire close to it, even when it’s off it’ll catch fire! The bottom line: a main feature of all these type of products is a proper and safe design of the gas valve which in case of this product failed to operate safely after couple of weeks! I don’t recommend this product because I don’t think the it’s safe to use. If the gas valve is faulty then pretty much the whole product will be unsafe and hence useless.
