I ordered this package for my MTB with Shimano Deore XT. The materials arrived in a large envelope, complete as described and yes...not in an original package as it was mentioned in the product description. The savings justify omitting the Shimano "original" packaging. The cables are of equal quality as far as I can tell at time of installation, they have a light magnetism as did the original ones. The outer cables are Teflon lined and good quality. All parts fit my Shimano XTR shifters. All supplied length of cables are more than long enough. I can reccommend this product. Time will tell how it performs on the road.
