I wasn't sure about this knife, general spec seemed OK, but you never know until you can hold it. Turns out that it is pretty good, overall. The handle is a comfortable grip, and the jimping on the blade is in line with the back of the handle, so no real forward pressure for precision bushcrafting. But for the intended purpose of gutting and skinning, I expect this to work well. The blade is a little thinner than expected/hoped for, but it does help to reduce the weight. I don't intend to butcher a moose with this thing, but I think for general camp utility or basic hunting of small to medium game it will be more than adequate. I did find the sheath to be a bit bulkier than I like, and will probably swap it for something else down the track. Overall I am very happy with the knife feel and build quality, and expect good things from it, but I couldn't say as yet if I would buy it again given the chance. Time will tell.Read full review
