There are plenty of products that provide ‘ready-to-plant’ rock of all sizes. But you can add a further dimension to your modelling activities by creating rocks yourself using moulds and lightweight plaster from Woodland Scenics; WC1201 Lightweight Hydrocal casting Plaster. Despite the description, this mould has nothing to do with classic rock music! Rather, it can be used to produce large rocks that form outcrops on riverbanks, embankments and road cuts. As with all the other moulds from Woodland Scenics, they are re-usable and flexible. The flexibility makes it easier to extract the moulded rocks from the moulds themselves.
