Very good value and has no moving parts so should be good on maintenance cost. It does get stuck at one of our steps but I haven't played around with all the weight positions and/or flow direction of pool jets which might prevent that happening. That is common issue with type of cleaner though as kreepy krauly was no better in this regard.
