Very happy with this purchase. Very easy to use. Creates great quality images.
Very easy to use. The box comes with a CD but my laptop does not have a CD Driver, so, I Googled "Epson Perfection V39 Driver" and downloaded the driver from Epson website. Once installed, attach the scanner to laptop using the cable. And that's it and ready for use. The quality of scanned image is great. Very simple and easy to use. Even better, there is no need for power supply. Just one USB cable from scanner to laptop handles all the power that is needed. Very compact. And the scanner is so smart. What does it mean? It only scans the photo to be scanned and not the empty spaces. And even has dust removal and color auto-correction options. Very happy with this purchase.

Great scanner good price
Bought this to scan my photos. Set up wasn’t too difficult but could have been easier. Couldn’t get power to scanner until the Twain driver was enabled. Some folks would be stumped by that. It scans and cleans up my photos beautifully and automatically scans 5 photos into separate files in one sweep. It also scans A4 docs into PDF with ease. Good entry grade device and it runs off USB power.

A Good Scanner for Photos
The scanner does a good job on old photographs with its ability to adjust and recolour the photos. The only downside it that it is very laborious to scan each photo individually. However if you do so then it produces a very good reproduction.

Slim and compact
This scanner is compact and is able to be mounted on it's side, keeping my work station clearer. It's a breeze to set up and there is no onboard battery, meaning one less battery to fail in the future. I would highly recommend this product.

Epson scanner does the job
The Epson V39 proved to be a great scanner for our home photo collection. Easy to use with the Scan Photo function, just needed to adjust the quantity of pixels first. Realy like that you can scan 3 photos at a time, but get 3 separate files, one for each photo.
