As with all Zippo products, this fluid canister is made with both precision and care. After a few months of having this attached to my keys and rattling about in my pocket, I can say that never once has it even hinted at leaking, nor shown signs of evaporation. Careful periodic checks have assured me that every droplet of Zippo fluid I poured into it when it arrived still remains inside (I should add that its capacity is far greater than I originally expected, and at a guess would say it is good for at least 2 complete refills, give or take a tad). It is well crafted, feels solid, has not suffered any noticeable scratches despite having a goodly number of keys constantly scraping away at it, and considering how quickly Zippo lighters can go from "full flame" to "oops, the cotton wadding is dry and all I have is flint spark now" I genuinely recommend this item to anyone that uses their Zippo on a regular basis as an excellent alternative to forever carrying that spare disposable "bic" in their jacket pocket to quickly fix those 'nothing but sparks' emergency moments. If I were to really really nitpick, I would say only that a) the single hoop style keyring that comes with it is not remotely as sturdy as I would have hoped [I immediately replaced that with a heavy spiral type I already owned from another keyring that was not in use...] and b) the thin rubber tube designed to hold spare flints is so narrowly tight I found it impossible to insert a single flint more than 3/4's of the way in, much less hold 2 spare flints as I had expected [this latter point I do not find much of an issue as it holds that single flint very very securely, plus most Zippo owners almost invariably store a couple of spare flints within the lighter's insert between the felt base and cotton wadding anyhow]. In general, another great Zippo product, with merely a couple of "very" minor nit-picky flaws that in no way whatsoever affect the primary function of its design; which is of course, to be near at hand with more than sufficient fuel to refill your lighter when it suddenly runs dry.Read full review
