I bought this to do chips at home, but it broke on the first use. One of the blades came right out of the cutting grid. It does come with a warranty, and I have been promised a replacement but it hasnt turned up as yet. For the price I paid I expected better quality. It looks like its strong and durable, maybe I just got an exception to that. It would be good for other vegies and possibly fruit-like cucumbers and apples but I didnt get to try those out. It comes with 2 size grids, so you can choose the size you prefer which is good. Its straight forward to use, just a shame it broke!
