Just plug and play
These wireless remotes can feasibly replace a situation where an electrician would otherwise run a switch, from house to workshop, for instance. I've purchased numerous brands of these, and even WiFi types, and I can say these are among the best, except for one complaint I won't neglect to mention. These have the rubber buttons that last. The hard buttons seen on other brands use a foil membrane that soon become unresponsive and are a waste of money. Being one switch short of a pack seems to be standard with these products. I am yet to purchase a second set, so I can't cover remote control compatibility. Like it or loathe it, the 2 remotes I have for my other brand (still in use) don't share the same channel. I was concerned about the range since the remote uses 2 x AAA batteries, while other manufacturers use the less common 12 volt battery, however range has been found to just be as effective. My one complaint is that I haven't located a push button on the switch itself. This can be a nuisance in an upstairs/downstairs situation, say, and you have to go get the remote. It's hard to understand how the manufacturers of this top product didn't think of this. Edit: I've noticed the switches can each be programmed to more than one button on the remote. It is reasonable to conclude that the purchase of a second remote control can feasably solve the above complaint. A very good product.Read full review

Doss Remote RF Mains Controller Simplicity
These are great simple to use 240V appliance controllers for hard to reach outlets. I have a wireless access point in my ceiling that I like to turn off at night. The power injector for the access point is under my house. This device saves me having to go under my house to turn it off and back on. I also have all of my components of my entertainment system controlled by this remote outlet, once again saving me having to reach behind the cabinet to turn everything off and on. Very simple to set up and use.

great plug and play tech that is very user friendly
This is a fantastic plug and play product. have it to turn on an outside shed light which can do before i walk to it. The remote operates it from far away. would be handy if you have a hard to reach power point behind a couch or the like. This is the second set i have owned. remote is very durable and small enough without it getting easily lost.

It arrived earlier than expected and worked beautifully :) very easy to use, program, and reprogram (once I deigned to read the short instructions-lol). I use them for fans and internal water fountain and they work beautifully in my small apartment :)
