In built bluetooth is a bonus as is the ability to adjust it's settings from the default values from a bluetooth enabled device. Does it's job as Victron Products do. Looks to be a very well made product that should stand the test of time. I particularly liked the ease with which you can monitor what is happening in real time by using the bluetooth app.I found the bluetooth range to be good. I had no problems connecting to the unit and it was reassuring to see that it automatically updated its firmware. It was such a pleasure to have a comprehensive user manual in comparison to the poorly written scraps I have received with cheaper PWM controllers. Comparing it to my old PWM controller on a cloudy day it was clear that it was more throughput. The only down side is perhaps the weight and bulk of the product, however this seems to be the nature of MPPT controllers at this power handling capability. I have seen some reviews complaining about the wiring ports being to small and too close together but I did not find this to be a problem even with heavy gauge wire. The MTTP is more expensive than a PWM, however for use on a Caravan or RV it makes good sense. The reason is that because one can't adjust the angle of the solar panels the MPPT controller is able to use more of the solar array hence giving greater output the the battery bank. I researched this quite extensively prior to buying the Victron unit.

This Victron MPPT solar controller is that far advanced to the PWM that I had in my motorhome it is like having a DC to DC charger. The batteries are always fully charged and running a 12 volt compressor fridge I always have lots of power. The inbuilt Bluetooth feature is really great I can check the charge from the solar panels and what is going into the batteries.
