It is a great tool for the money. People need to keep in mind that it is a very cheap tool compared to commercially available " brand name " pole saws. For the person that wants to use it 3 or 4 times a year and go easy on it i'm sure it will last well. Starts easy, has plenty of power. Obviously a $1000 pole saw will be lighter, stronger and last longer if used all the time etc .

These pole saws are complete junk ! On opening the box it had loose Allen head bolts so l found where they screwed into. Went to start had a fuel leak fixed that ! It ran good with plenty of power once it was finely started. On cutting the 2nd branch one of the poles came loose on looking at all of them they all had different issues interlocking probably. After several emails to oz plaza I was told to upload a video of the problems which I did several times after different excuses say that it couldn't be viewed ! Should of just went and hired one for a day

For the money this is a really good pole saw. Good points: 1. It has a massive reach when all the sections are used. I've pruned up to 5 metres high with my feet on solid ground. 2. It has adequate power for cutting limbs up to around 15cm. 3. The bar has a lubrication system. 4. The engine starts and runs well. 5. It has everything you need to get going, including fuel mix bottle which was handy (the gloves and goggles are good for a laugh). 6. The price!!! Honestly after the first couple of jobs this saw owes me nothing and is still running great. Points to improve: 1. I think the bellhousing on mine was mounted 90 degrees off, so the cutting bar was 90 degrees rotated from the engine in an upright position. I fixed by making a small hole in one of the extensions, so it would lock in place rotated back by 90 degrees. This may depend on the type of cutting you're doing and perhaps mine was unusual in this respect. 2. The plastic bar protector / scabbard is very flimsy and should be made stronger. Read full review

It all worked except on off switch and when the switch was modified the switch is too easy to accidentally move to off which is annoying The locator security pin on extension section is undersized and allows side ways movement of section when located in the hole. Plastic guard beneath fuel tank is very flimsy and broke off needs to be alloy.

This product appears to be of good quality and simple to assemble and operate. Having used this over the past week I found that the extension poles do not lock into the hole where it is located an as a result they move around and disengages the spindle shaft resulting in the chain not rotating. A little disappointing and time consuming to rectify the fault each time it happens. The motor however is great with ample power when the pole saw is operating as it should be.
