It contains the active ingredient, docusate sodium, which gradually restores regularity over 1 to 3 days.Docusate sodium acts as a stool softener, drawing water into the stools. This increases the fluid content in the stool, making it softer and easier to pass. Usage & Directions: Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets once daily after the evening meal. Caution and Warning: Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence.
