Not quite as solid as the fluke, and not quite as study as my old extech, but at half the price of the fluke it's a pretty good buy. Price for performance there's many more features compared to a desktop model. Comes with a protective case, but it's not rubber (it's plastic) so I wouldn't be taking this out into the field, but it's fantastic for a home workshop. The extech and fluke casing as a bit more robust and better padded. There's no lip on the fascia, so if you dropped it on it's face, it'd likely break the screen. Again, it's an indoor workshop model, and if that's what you want, it's excellent for the money. Have charged the battery once in two months and it's still got 80%, and I use it every 2nd day. Comes with a 10v recharger, and you recharge via the sockets in the front with a custom uni-t adaptor that'll no doubt get lost at some stage. Comes with a USB cable so you can monitor from your PC, the USB connector is optically isolated so there's no chance to blow up your other devices. The probes are pretty good, and it works with standard probe socket sizes. The screen has adjustable brightness, it's a fast display and reflective screen, so not ideal in full sunlight (monochrome LCD would be better) it is readable. Boot up time is about 6 seconds. (3 of which is holding the on button down). Reads on auto-ranging are sub 1 second, it's pretty fast - although not quite as fast as some desktop units I've used, but fast enough by the time you hole the probe to the point, you look up and it's done.
