The Seller sent the parcel in a timely matter! The product really needs two people to assemble, to help line up everything so it all fits in as it should. My wife and I found it pretty easy to put together - the only thing I would suggest is to wear gloves & work clothes, as some of the stain dust will get on your clothes & hands! Once we put it together, I must say it looks Fantastic & I can highly recommend this product! We bought this bridge to replace the same bridge we had before which lasted about 15 years, but was a bit worse for wear!

It looked good in the beginning but with time it did not withstand the outdoor environment. The wood became very fragile and slowly the panels started falling off one by one. The screws were rusted, broken and stuck in the wood. So the old screws could not be removed and hence no possibility of fixing the panels with new screws, as the new screws need to go exactly in the place of old screws otherwise the bridge cannot be put back together. Also the wood had weakened so much that it will not take any more screwing in. This bridge is definitely not meant for outdoors and the quality of the wood is very poor that it did not last longer than 6 to 8 months outdoors. Very disappointed with the bridge's short life and this bridge is destined for the dumpster. A complete waste of money and time.

The bridge is an attractive design, which is easy to assemble and light enough for one person to move and handle without difficulty. There are two issues of concern, although they are easily addressed. (1) The bridge supports are each in two pieces, joined in the middle of the bridge (!) by half-lap joints. As these are joints in softwood, my informal testing suggests that the quoted load limit of 160 kg is wildly optimistic. An easy fix is to screw a metre or so of 1" galvanised steel strip to the underside of each support (see photo). My local hardware (Bunnings) sells 6 metres of this strip for under $10. This is dead easy, dirt cheap, invisible and it restores the load capacity of the bridge to somewhere near the claimed value. (2) The dark (burnt) finish is attractive but it's not weather-proof and leaves charcoal marks on your clothes/hands. I put two coats of some old marine varnish on it which should protect both the bridge and its users for years to come. The result looks fantastic (see photo).Read full review

The quality is hard to beat for the price. Very sturdy when put together and looks quite gorgeous. The fir wood is relatively dark in colour which I really like. Makes it easy to colour coordinate with just about any type of garden. Overall the bridge definitely adds a touch of class to the garden without subtracting from the natural beauty.

The timber seems to be durable, though the screws are nickel plated and will rust quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow with excellent drawings
