Tone, tone, tone!
Now I know why Ernie Ball strings are so popular. They sound amazing! Remarkable tone and when I crank up the volume on my Telecaster I get a really cool distortion. They cost a little bit more than some other brands but are worth paying extra for.

My favorite guitar strings
I string my Les Pauls with these (11-48) Power Slinky and my other Guitars withRegular Slinky (10-46). I have tried many other brands, but find Ernie Ball strings are consistant. One well known brand I tried in the last 2 years, had surface rust on the strings when I opened the pack. For a few bucks more, these strings hold their tone and stay fresh for longer...JUST DO IT.
