For the tracks on the longplayer, which will be released on 180g vinyl, high-resolution digital transfers of the original studio master recordings were used, which were remastered at half speed in Abbey Road Studios. This complex process creates a version that reproduces the sound particularly cleanly and in detail without distorting the sound the band was aiming for. No additional digital limiting was used in order not to affect the dynamic range of the original mixes. The albums are all released on 180g vinyl, and the original covers have been recreated down to the smallest detail – right down to the type of paper and the printing technology used in their production. Our founding year in 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was celebrated as a cool thing again.
