Everything about it is perfect. Not only are they great songs, the performance knocks this out of the park. Neil's voice is in fine form, the band don't miss a beat and the audience are loving every minute of it. This is a top CD. Hot August night was well know since Neil Diamond played on stage.. There were people in trees as well listening to him. He is a great entertainer and his opening is what l love on this CD. The drums are just terrific. There is no bad with this entertainment CD.

One of the all time classics. Upgraded my old tape to CD. Re-mastering questionable but I was burning in a new CD player at the time, so I'm not 100% sure which was the issue. Production didn't seem any better than the original recording but still a must have for a music collection.

If it is not a cult CD, it should be...I had it as an LP and I know they have come back into favour, but I though I'd get a CD of this favourite Neil Diamond music, so it is now easier to listen to more frequently.
