She teaches them all good manners, how to play croquet, say their prayers and has their clothes tailor-made. However, these are not ordinary youngsters - they're chimpanzees! Buddy tells the true story of Trudy, who with her husband Bill (Robbie Coltrane) and her loyal assistant Dick (Alan Cumming), is the most generous animal keeper since Noah! Her favourite child is Buddy, the gorilla she raised from a sickly baby to a mischievous adult who gets into all kinds of hilarious monkey business.
