Top quality jaffle maker
You pay for what you get. This jaffle maker is a top quality product. The weight of it, the materials used to manufacture it and how well it works all give that away. I’ve owned cheaper products in the past and none of them did a better job than the Breville. The cheaper products left jaffles soggy and didn’t seal them properly so the filling leaked out. The Breville, on the other hand, seals the jaffles and cooks them properly so the outside is beautiful and toasty and the inside is sealed in and not leaking out everywhere. It is easy to clean and I love its stainless steel exterior. Definitely like the original, which my mum used to have many years ago. It is true that good quality comes with a price.

Best toastie maker
We used to have the original stainless steel Breville toastie maker & it finally died after years of use. We've tried other toastie makers & they've basically been useless - either not cooking properly or not being able to put very much filling in. Until now - the Breville Original '74 is fantastic. Cooks well, you can put a good amount of filling in & it's got a clamp to hold it all together while it's cooking. Would definitely recommend.

Have been using a cheap kmart type Jaffle maker for a while. But was a pain to clean, cheese would always go everywhere be hard to close and just messy. This unit is awesome, no mess and even if the cheese would exit the machine (has not thou) there is no ledge for it to fall on and make a mess of machine. One of the best appliance purchases i have made.

Welcome to my kitchen Breville
Many years ago I had a Beville-when orange kitchenware was the rage- and it’s really great to again enjoy toasted sandwiches and more. I plan to make meat pies for Australia Day. We love Reuben club sandwiches and the Breville makes them more easily than in a frypan and they are sealed so the filling stays put. With only two of us at home now the Breville is a tasty way to use up leftovers.

Absolutely brilliant!!!
This is by far the best sandwich maker I've ever owned. You can fit so much filling in the deep pockets, it cooks perfectly all the way through. I sealed it with oil before the 1st use and cleaning is a breeze. Heats up quickly before I even have the sandwiches ready. This is by far one of my favourite appliances, we use it every day. You hardly even need any butter on the outsides of the bread. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND
