The main feature I like it for is so I can set individual ports speed. The default is auto negotiation but individual ports can be set, I use 1Gbit no negotiation on some ports to other gear that only has auto negotiation. This forces the port to 1Gbit. There is a comprehensive monitoring page which proves data and error information.
