The weave is open enough to allow a good amount of light to pass through, but tight enough to deter the cabbage moths I want to keep out. Our beds are a little over 2m long and 1m wide, and we used hoops to keep the net off the vegies. The 3m x 5m size fit perfectly, allowing the ends to be closed with a little extra to spare. Was thinking of cutting a net in half to cover two beds, but it wouldn't have been large enough. Glad I purchased several.

Lightweight, fine mesh that drapes well over fruit & vegetables. Lets in ample sunlight but keeps moisture in the soil (reduces evaporation). Light enough for the vegetation to push and lift up the net as they grow beyond the height of the netting! Very good product. Have yet to review durability, as I've only had it for a few months.

Excellent netting for protecting young seedlings from locusts/grass hoppers, white cabbage moth and snails/slugs etc. I have also used the nets to successfully protect young vegie plants from frosts and the harsh summer sun. Overall, very happy with the product and used almost all year round.
