Great Product, Great quality, works straight out of the box plug n play just hold the button to link also if you want the best speeds use cat 6 or 7 and make sure your connected to the GB port outlet of your router as mine only has one the others are 100 Mbps Telstra way to go (which i found out after a bit of research) anyway highly recommend cheers

Installed as per instructions then carried out a before & after connection speed test several times over several days and the average speed with the TP link kit installed was about the same as it was without it installed so my connection is no faster. The physical size of these things are huge so once installed, the power point next to it is unusable. $196 wasted.

This is very easy to setup, plug in to each device / model router and press the sync button.. all done! I used the powerline ethernet adapter to sync my NBN Model downstairs to my upstairs Managed router (manage wifi speeds evenly) - best thing I've done at minimal cost without invasive cables everywhere Just love it

Works very well. I'm using them across different circuits/RCDs and they connect up even though it is strongly recommended to put them on the same circuit. I'm getting an actual throughput of around 340Mbps, plenty for HD streaming and gaming. If you have VDSL you will need to download the utility from the TP-Link website and make sure to change the setting to "Lower PLC-VDSL Interference". It is in each adaptor's Advanced Settings. I needed this because it killed my internet connection initially. They are bulky and block the second outlet on a double power point. I used a double adaptor for clearance. They also seem to get quite warm.

The TP-Link TL-PA9020P is recommended by Wirecutter and several other publications as the current best Powerline Ethernet kit. This model is rated at a theoretical maximum speed of 2000Mbps, effectively 1Gbps in each direction. Of course, actual speeds depend entirely on the distance between the adapters and the condition of your power lines. I'm happy with the speeds this kit gives me in my medium sized apartment. Using the network performance tool iPerf, I measured speeds of about 190 Mbps when connected from one end of the apartment to the other. This is better than I expected, as many publications found lower real speeds in their testing of the product. Keep in mind that your results may vary. Powerline Ethernet will never be as fast as actual Ethernet cables running through the walls. And in many circumstances, 802.11ac Wi-Fi may be the better solution. Why only 4 stars? Each unit is quite bulky and can be an awkward fit in many power outlets (see photo). In double socket power outlets, the adapter blocks the socket next to it, which is far from ideal. Luckily each adapter has an in built power socket, which mitigates the problem somewhat. Plugging in electrical devices into the adapters didn't seem to affect speeds. Overall, this is might be the best Powerline Ethernet kit you can buy right now, but take note of the limitations.Read full review

It doubled the speed of my older device. The only downside is that it is a bit wider than the standard power point, so you lose the use of a power point when it is plugged into a double-point plate. Otherwise, it was easy to set up and worked straight out of the box.

Reasonably priced, works a treat. Has elegantly solved my home network problem. The plug packs are a little bulky, potentially obscuring adjacent power points, but I found a simple double adapter (vertical alignment) allowed me enough Stand off space to use all my power points. Manufacturer recommends direct plug to the wall, but this arrangement still seems to work. I imagine service probably degrades or stops if you install it on the end of a chain of power boards.

It's a really nice quality product that does what it says. I was able to get the max NBN 50 speeds I'm paying for no problems. Just a couple of things to keep in mind: 1) they're surprisingly large devices - in a standard two plug wall outlet, it tends to block the other outlet unless you have a slim diverting power board. 2) make sure you're using them on the same phase electric circuit. My little townhouse has a separate circuit for upstairs and downstairs. Which means with my modem upstairs I can use it to get ethernet to the TV downstairs. Otherwise it works great for my desktop PC without having to run long ethernet cables on the floor - a good solution for renters or those who don't want to fork out for an electrician to install data wiring etc.

The Tp-Link AV2000 2-Port easy to set up works just as stated on stranded house hold wiring giving 99% internet speeds. perfect for those spots that don't have good WIFI .

Easy installation. Works as advertised. Very happy with the purcahse The only con and it is very minor is the unit is large. Upon receiving I was surprised how big it was enough that on standard AUS power point it takes up two spots. This is mitigated however since they they added the power point input on the unit itself. It does make the setup a bit harder space wise if you are going for a clean setup.
