Easy to setup, appears to be a quality build, looks good and has the features I wanted plus more. difficult to answer the question of good value, but have said yes as I wanted these features though I am of course still disappointed I was really forced to get this unit due to no or lack of acceptance of any standard to share devices among fitness ecosystems - reduces positive competition. That being said, I guess I purchased a Garmin watch for the rich quality feature set and would probably have gone Garmin for the scales anyway. In short, it's pricey compared to other scales. It appears to be accurate in comparison to other scales I have - I have no way of testing the quality of other metrics it provides, though they are interesting to track.
