Weddings, ABBA, Everything!
Muriel just wants to get married. She loves ABBA but hates living in Porpoise Spit. With some deception, she ends up holidaying on an island resort & teaming up with old schoolfriend, Rhonda. They move to Sydney together. Muriel still longs to marry and, at every opportunity, she visits bridal shops to try on wedding gowns. She gets her wedding day but all for financial gain. After a family tragedy, she returns to Porpoise Spit. There, she makes amends with her father & takes best friend Rhonda back to Sydney.
