The IDC25 allows you to charge your 12V second/auxiliary deep cycle battery on the go, simultaneously from solar and your alternator (9-32V) inputs. Providing an advanced 3 stage charging process to produce a safe and comprehensive charge, this charger is the perfect power solution for your outdoor and offroad adventures. Sealed to IP67, the IDC is dust, splash and shock proof and can safely operate in extreme temperatures up to 80°C meaning you can conveniently install this in your engine bay. Multi-Chemistry compatible, just set the charging profile to the battery type: Wet, Calcium AGM or Gel.

Reliable
Installed in a Toyota Hilux 2017 under bonnet charging a century 110 AH Lead Acid Deep Cycle. Works fine, setup was easy and so far has been reliable and solid. Was cheaper than RedArc and does same job. Designed for the harsher under bonnet conditions. No need for ignition wire for this car, just connect to main battery and starts charging when alternator runs.

Another Excellent Projecta product
I have purchased a number of these Projecta IDC25 chargers into 4WD and caravans now and they are an excellent product. In my vehicle it has been subjected to a number of days of extreme summer heat over 40 degrees ambient, on top of the high engine compartment temperatures on an extended trip. The Projector got extremely hot to the point that I could have fried an egg on it while it was working flat out each day charging an auxiliary battery at 25 amps for hours - it never missed a beat. During that time I melted a few fuse holders within the engine compartment but the Projecta worked flawlessly. All the Projecta equipment is robustly and ruggedly built, works brilliantly and wont let you down or dissapoint.

Quality converter for variable voltage alternator cars
This DC to DC converter has been designed well. It has all the features needed to connect up a second battery and let you know what is happening. It avoids the extra cost of displays and gauges and just performs the task required - keeping the second battery well charged and protecting the first battery from being run down. It charges at the full 25 Amps even with my variable voltage alternator. I hope it lasts on the rough tracks - time will tell.

I’ve only installed it a week ago. So far so good. Working perfectly. Best value I could find after much shopping around. Like every product do extensive research and make sure it suits your application. It’s charging an AGM 120ah auxiliary battery in my toolbox on the ute tray

Great product to charge youre dual batteries. Works a treat in regulating and isolating your main battery and works awesome when charging off solar panel. Been tested for over a week out in the bush using a mix of solar panel's and driving around and the unit charged and kept everything charged as it was supposed to am i was running 2 fridges of the one 120amp battery unreal.

Best DC-DC Charger out there!
This is an excellent product. I couldn't find anything else out there that does the job so well. It keeps my 300AH AGM Battery topped through the solar panel all the time. When I hook the car up to it to charge my trailer while driving, it will feed off that as well. Had no problems so far, its all automatic. Can't recommend enough.
