This movie was based on the Swedish series Millennium Trilogy. I had seen the first film , 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', and this was the second of the Trilogy. This was a Swedish film with English subtitles, about Lisbeth Salandar, a computer hacker and Mikael a journalist publisher of the magazine Millennium. In this movie, they investigate sex trafficking. Knowing the background helped me to follow the storyline while reading the subtitles. Lisbeth portrays a damaged heroine, silent and morose at times, looking gothic punk, as a female retaliator. This is a thriller, involves conspiracy, murder, mystery, has violence with a Swedish austerity. I had to watch it a couple of times to get the gist of the storyline, as well as reading the subtitles. Well worth watching again, and now I'm hooked and I need to see the third in the Trilogy. WELL for a Start KNOW WHERE on these DVD's does it say SUBTITLES if I had known this I would not have even entertained the idea of buying these DVD"S. Also, it was a good job that I had read the books because I was so busy reading the SUBTITLES that I could not see what the hell the film was about, the storyline was not like the book a lot was missed out. I was very disappointed and did not find them entertaining
