Netgear Powerline PL1000 1 Port Paired 1Gbps RJ45 LAN Adapter
Using an electrical power circuit cabling in a house or building, these create a LAN cable link where conventional wiring would be inaccessible to run. At the source and destination devices, these adapters utilize CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT6a type RJ45 LAN cabling to complete a WIRED network setup (eg. between a router and an RJ45 LAN Port Switching Device for multiple computers or gaming consoles). This setup is for applications where WIRED networking is practical for stable or improved speed response with internet connections, as opposed to WIRELESS networking where interference can be a problem. Simply link them up correctly using a couple of short length outlet cables powered at a twin outlet mounted on a wall before plugging them at the source and destination power outlets along the exact same electrical power outlet circuit. Realistically, the speed of this WIRED LAN connection will only be as fast as the internet speed connection managed by the router (whether it is an NBN Wireless/Direct Cabling or 3G/4G/5G Mobile Broadband setup), but the bandwidth response speed can be initially upto 1Gbps. I cut the story short: reasonable price compared to expensive dlink equivalent model. Sensitive to higher power electrical products on the same power cord route, so that you need to plug in to another power point in the room (the socket next to the high power is still on the same route). Managed to push the internet speed almost the same as my 100Mbps NBN, but windows network file transfer is even slower than via 802.11AC at the moment. I guess there are some misconfiguration on my computer or router causing that and I am still reasearching. At least, I can do online gaming with more reliable connection and able to use the internet priority management built in my wired network card.

Quick and easy to set up
My wifi at home isn't strong enough to cover the whole house so when it came time to connect the tv across the house to the router, I decided to give these a try. They're very simple to set up. Simply plug them in a wall socket near the point you need to connect something and next to the router. Connect with the provided network cables and you are up and running.

Easy way to extend your network
This is an excellent product, and works exactly as described—true plug and play. One tiny gripe is that it's pretty wide and, as it needs to be plugged directly into the wall socket, you can't really plug other devices in next to it. Small thing though, and overall this is a really great product.

Fixed gaming experience for good
Was able to get 90 Mbps reliable connection over old wiring through a power board. While not as fast as WiFi, the connection is low latency and rock solid. This helped resolve all the issues with gaming over WiFi, which was lagging and dropping out regularly.
