One draw back is the ring tones are not audible from outside the house & I often miss calls. A good feature is that the handsets have a flashing light to show that you have missed a call or there is a message for you. Also there is a CID feature which lets you know you have received unanswered calls. All in all I feel this 4 phone set meets all my requirements as far as value for money goes.

Read the instructions - I bought 3 sets because each set will take an extra 2 handsets - So have 12 handsets - Instructions are correct a handset will hold charge for about a week if used very little - Buy two 900 ma batteries on Ebay one for each base for greater backup during blackouts
