The twist is that each Phase to be completed is specific for each hand dealt. Players who complete one Phase advance to the next, but those who don't must keep trying until they do. A “Wild” card can be used in place of a number card, as well as be used as any colour to complete any phase, while a “Skip” card causes your opponent to lose a turn.

Great for the brain.
This is a great game for keeping your mind sharp and it's a lot of fun too. The cards are quite sturdy, but the box isn't. It is very light cardboard, and as the cards are a snug fit, it is easily torn. It will have to be replaced with a plastic box in no time because the cards will be used often. I love the game.

The cards are very colourful and nicely printed. This is our first set of phase 10 cards so we do not know for certain how long they will last without bending.

The cards are coated with a durable coating as the original set have been shuffled around 5K times or more & have stood up to the test of time. The printing is large & the colours are very bright and easy to use without the aid of glasses. I now have 3 sets that I am extremely happy with.
